Together we unite in style to support emerging communities and the next generation of leaders – Naomi Campbell

The works in the show seek to explore and celebrate the new guard of African and diaspora artists who investigate ideas of transformation, materiality and harmony within their works. It is a cross-disciplinary roster of emerging and established talent, to boldly establish a legacy of sensitivity to material, but also announce the new guard of talent and highlight connectivity, romance, history and ingenuity as key to landscape of contemporary Black art.

Qatar Creates and EMERGE, a global charitable initiative dedicated to uniting the fashion and creative industries as a force for good, will host a fashion show and VIP dinner, held under the patronage of HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad al-Thani and co-hosted by spokesperson and founder of EMERGE Powered by Fashion For Relief, supermodel Naomi Campbell.

While the Art Exhibit will highlight leading and acclaimed young artists, led by Art Masters such Kehinde Wiley or Victor Ehikhamenor, the Fashion Exhibit will showcase a selection of award-winning fashion designers from Africa, the Diaspora and the Middle East, such as Thebe Magugu, Bianca Saunders, and Abdel El Tayeb.
The creative and business event EMERGE Talk will bring leading professionals together to discuss the future of alternative industries following an opening conversation on the power of creativity in business between Campbell, HE Sheikha Al Mayassa, and Kehinde Wiley.

The event will be held under the patronage and presence of Her Highness Sheika Moza Bin Nasser, the EAA’s founder, and Her Excellency Sheikha Al-Mayassa Bint Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani.
